Introduction
This article will guide you on how to connect the Geidea A920 terminal to the POSweb application without using a wire connection.
- This article will be helpful to the PG Champion, Club Manager or any other person responsible for the installation of the Geidea A920 terminal to the POSweb, and Club Owner.
This feature is available from the R90 PGM system version.
Instruction
STEP 1
Terminal set up
- Connect the terminal to the network via WIFI.
- Make sure the terminal has the WiFi function turned on.
- On the terminal, go to the WiFi network settings.
- Select your WiFi network from the list of available networks.
- Enter the access password if required.
STEP 2
POSweb set up
- Open the POSweb system settings.
- Go to the Configuration. It is a gear wheel in the right-bottom corner.
- In Transaction Terminal, choose Geidea Transaction Terminal TCP/IP.
- Enter the IP address you want to assign to the terminal. Depending on your preferences and network configuration, it can be a static or dynamic IP address. The terminal will automatically attempt to establish a connection with the POS system using the TCP/IP settings.
5. If everything is correctly configured, the terminal should connect to the POS system via the WiFi network and transmit data to the POS.
Ensure that both the terminal and the POS system are on the same local network. Additionally, the terminal's IP address should be unique and not conflict with other devices on the network.
Hints
If you still want to use the wire version, don't change anything in the configuration and stay with the Geidea Transaction Terminal option.
