Introduction
If you want to choose Adyen as your payment provider to integrate it with the Perfect Gym Software, this article is for you. Here, you will find answers to these questions:
- What is Adyen?
- What do you have to provide for the integration to succeed?
Feature description
1. What is Adyen?
Adyen is a payment provider that allows accepting online gateway payments and Recurring Credit Card payments. It offers merchants online services for accepting electronic payments by payment methods including credit cards, bank-based payments such as debit cards, bank transfer, and real-time bank transfers based on online banking. Here you will find more information on the online payment gateways. They are used in the Client Portal and (in future) will be available in the PerfectGym GO Mobile App.
- During the first transaction with a particular card, Adyen requires a complete set of card details. Card details include the cardholder name, full card number, CVV/CVC and expiry date. The card then receives an ID, which you can store as a token (for example, for subsequent transactions) instead of keeping the sensitive data in your system. This process is called tokenization. Adyen uses tokenization when processing payment data in one-click and recurring transactions.
- In the PGM, you can generate Credit Card (CC) booking manually or automatically.
2. What do you have to provide for the integration to succeed?
- To start the process of integration, you should contact Adyen and provide them with all necessary information and documents mentioned here.
- The next step is creating credentials for the test account. You will have to provide the PerfectGym Implementation Team with the Account, Username, and Password to do the test account set up for you. This test account will allow to set up the integration, check if it works well, and to limit the possibility of error occurrence.
- The last step is the go-live phase on the production environment.
