Introduction
This article describes how to manually send a message with the payment link to a single member by use of the Automation Center Notifications.
- This article will be useful to PG Champion, Administrator, Club Manager, Sales Manager and Club Owner.
Before you start
In order to send any type of messages, there must be Automation Center configured for your company. Find more about Automation Center in this article. This is a mandatory requirement! Otherwise, the payment link generation option will not be available.
Instruction
Where to find this feature?
Remember that creating payment requests is only available for Members with active Contracts.
- Go to the PGM -> Clients -> Club Members.
- Select the member from the Members list.
- Go to Transactions tab and select E-Payments.
- Click on Create online payment request.
How to generate and send a new payment request?
- Select the right provider to handle payments.
Only configured online gate payment providers are available.
2. Select method of delivery - SMS or email. If there are no member's contact data, you need to fill in the data in the Member profile, in the Data tab.
3. You can select the contract transactions which will be settled for this transaction.
4. Provide payment amount or, if you have chosen associated transaction, this field will be automatically filled in.
5. You can provide the time span (in hours) to indicate how long the payment link should be available. If no value provided, the link will not expire.
6. Fill in the description for the member. This value will be shown as a title of the transaction. If you have selected email channel it would also become the email's subject.
7. If you choose email channel, you must provide the right template for the message.
To send email notifications, first you need to have defined template for message in Automation Center. You can read in this article how to do that.It is important to have defined templates dedicated only for gate payment orders. Payment link will be pasted in the content HTML tag in the template. Therefore message for the customer should be defined outside content tag.
8. For SMS content, there is a predefined message. However, you can modify it to fit your needs. Remember to add [LINK] in the content to include the payment link there.
If you choose SMS channel, be aware that SMS messages are additionally paid.
9. Click Send. The new notification with generated link will be added to the queue and sent to the given member within couple of minutes.
You should see the newly created request in the E-Payments tab with status In Progress.
