Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to send automatic push notifications (text messages) to instructors using automation rules. These notifications will be visible to PerfectGym Pro mobile app users.

Before you start
To handle push notifications directed to instructors from the Automation module, ensure at least one of the following events is set up:
- ClassCanceled
- ClassChangedWithMessage
- ClassStarted
- PersonalTrainingAttended
- PersonalTrainingStarted
- PersonalTrainingBookingCanceled
- PersonalTrainingBookingHasBeenPaid
- PersonalTrainingBooked
- PersonalTrainingBookingCancelledAfterNotBeingPaid
Additionally, make sure push notifications are enabled on your phone for Pro App, and that notifications are only allowed from PGM companies connected to your specific Pro App account.

Instruction
How to send Push Notifications?
1. Go to the PGM -> Automation -> Automation Rules.
The following screen will appear with the list of Created automation rules:
Name - the name of the automation rule.
Event - defines the situation that triggers the notification to be sent.
Action - defines the kind of automation rule.
Status - shows the status of the appropriate automation rule.
Edit - enables editing selected automation rule.
Delete - removes selected automation rule from the list.
2. Click on the add Automation rule button.
3. Define Name, Action (Notification type), and Event.
Event examples:
- User has booked personal training - notifies a trainer about new booking.
- Class has been cancelled - allows to inform about the class cancellation.
- Class has started - reminds about upcoming classes.
4. Set conditions (if applicable).
5. Set the channel on Push notification.
6. Set Notification recipients on Instructors.
7. Write short content without any dynamic fields.
8. Click Submit to insert the changes.
