Introduction
In Perfect Gym, the Payment Plan Intervals feature allows for the creation and management of defined time intervals used throughout the system. Its primary benefit is providing standardized and reusable durations, such as for memberships or contracts, which streamlines configuration and ensures consistency across different modules.
In this article, you will learn how Payment Plan Intervals work in Perfect Gym, including how to understand their settings, add, edit, and delete them, and follow best practices for naming and management.
This article will be helpful for PG Champions, Club Managers, and System Administrators who configure or manage memberships, contracts, and other time-based settings in the system.
Instruction
Below are the settings available when creating or editing a Time Period. These settings define the duration and identification of each record.
Name: A descriptive label for the time period to make it easily identifiable.
Example: "1-Month Membership", "Quarterly Access", "14-Day Trial"
Interval: The unit of time for the period. The system allows for two types of intervals.
Example: You can select either
DaysorMonthsfrom a dropdown list.
Count: The numerical value that defines the length of the time period, based on the selected interval.
Example: If you select
Monthsas the Interval, a Count of3would create a 3-month period. If you selectDays, a Count of7would create a 7-day period.

Hints
Use Clear Naming Conventions: Always use a descriptive name for your time periods, like "14-Day Pass" instead of just "14", to avoid confusion when selecting it in other parts of the system.
Check for Duplicates: Before adding a new time period, quickly scan or filter the list to ensure an identical period doesn't already exist. This prevents clutter and redundancy.
Plan Your Intervals: When creating periods for contracts or memberships, decide whether to use
DaysorMonthsconsistently. For example, a "30-Day" period is different from a "1-Month" period.Confirm Before Deleting: Deleting a time period is permanent. Always double-check if the period is linked to active contracts or services before removing it to prevent potential system errors.
