Introduction
The system offers you a tool to easily send messages to your Front Desk team. Using it, you can leave a message that your receptionists can see while they operate using the POSweb application.
Before you start
If you would like to give your employees the ability to send such messages, the following system permission needs to be assigned against the selected Employee Role.
System administration -> Clubs -> News
Instruction
1. Go to the PGM -> Clubs -> Employees -> Club information
2. Click on the Add new notification button.
3. A new window will be displayed. Enter message content in the Text box.
- Attached url box should be used to enter any URLs that you would like to add to the message content.
If you try to enter the URL in the ‘Text’ box, it will not create a hyperlink.
- Url text can be used if you would like for the hyperlink to be displayed through a custom text. For instance, if you enter link in Url text box, the system will display link instead of http://xyz
- Expire date determines when the message should disappear from the application
- Club – there you can select clubs in which the message will be displayed in POSweb application. You can easily select all of them with just one click.
- Send to recipients with roles – sometimes you might want to send a message to specific employees. This function enables you to specify which employee roles the message is intended for.
4. Click on the Insert button to publish the message.
5. In the result, the message will be displayed on the POSweb application. The number of unread messages will be indicated on the bell icon.
6. Click the bell icon to display the message(s).
7. Full content of each message is displayed here, along with the optional URLs attached at the end of the message, and the date and time of publication.
