Introduction
This use case article will show you how to create Automation rule that will cause sending an Automatic Notification to members, each time they are awarded Loyalty points for Product Purchase. This automation can be extremely useful when you want to promote members' engagement and increase Product sale.
- This article will be helpful to PG Champion, Administrator, Marketing and Sale Manager, Club Manager and Club Owner.
In this particular case, the Product for purchase of which the Loyalty points are awarded is a Voucher for one month free membership.
Before you start
Make sure you are familiar with how Vouchers work and how to sell them on POSweb or make them available for purchase in Client Portal, as well as how Loyalty points work. You may also find this article on Automation rule configuration useful.
Instruction
How to send Notification on adding Loyalty Points for Product Purchase?
1. Go to the PGM -> Automation -> Automation rules.
2. Click on the Add automation rule button.
3. Fill in the following fields:
- Enter the Name of the Automation rule, i.e. Loyalty points for voucher sale.
- In Action, select Loyalty Points from the predefined list.
- In Event, select Product has been sold from the predefined list.
- In Conditions, make sure Match all is selected.
- In Token, select [PRODUCT_NAME] from the predefined list.
- In Condition, select Equals from the predefined list.
- In Value, enter the Name of the Product the purchase of which will result in adding Loyalty points.
- In Points assigned every time, enter the number of Loyalty points that you want to be added to Member's account each time they purchase the given Product.
4. Click on the Submit button.
