Introduction
As a club owner or manager, your goal is to empower your customers to become the strongest, healthiest versions of themselves. However, getting to the gym regularly can be a challenge for many people, especially during vacation periods. By use of the Automation, you can increase the members' engagement and send them automatic notifications to their email addresses, by SMS or Push notification on their mobile phones. You can use the Events connected to the members' scheduled Classes, Personal Training sessions and club visits when the client activity in the club might drop.

Before you start
- If you want to send email notifications, make sure you have verified your club email to display correctly in the sender field. See how it's done. Also, do not forget to configure your Automation email template.
- Mind that if you want to send a Push notification, your club needs to be using the PG GO mobile application.
- Mind that if you want to send the automatic notifications by SMS, an additional fee will be charged. Read this article for more information.
Use Case
Last Club Visit - How to use it?
This Event monitors when a member visits the club. It can be used when the member does not show up in the club within a certain period of time. You can motivate them to engage more by sending supportive and uplifting messages. You can even propose using a 30-minute free Personal Training session at some point. Then, the member can show the notification they've received at the Front Desk and your staff will book the free PT session for them.
Last Club Visit - How to set it up?

Mind that the below configuration is just an exemplary set-up of Last Club Visit Event usage. You can modify the number of days the notification will be sent on, the email title and content template texts to better match your company's business strategy.
We recommend using this Automation Rule configuration only for Payment Plans without the Freeze option.
1. Go to the PGM -> Automation -> Automation Rules.
2. Click on Add Automation Rule.
3. Fill in the fields with the appropriate data:
- Name - enter the name of the Automation Rule you are creating.
- Action - select Notification from the predefined list.
- Event - select Last Club visit from the predefined list.
4. Fill in the Action Details section:
- In Channel - select E-mail to send the Notification by e-mail to your club members.
- In From E-mail - select the Email address from which you will be sending the Notification.
- In Notification Recipients - select Users.
- In Send notification before/after the Event - select 1, 5, 8, 16.
These numbers stand for the days after the club visit. On these days notifications will be sent to the members.
- In Select time unit - select Days.
- In Choose - select After.
5. Create the Notification Content by clicking on the Add content template button.
6. Fill in the Content Template window:
- Language - select the language of the Notification, i.e. English.
- Subject - enter the email titles for each notification you want to send to the members, i.e.:

- Template - select the notification template that you have previously created. You can use these content examples to create your template messages:

Class & Booking-Related Events
These events can be sent to members who participate in Classes available in your Timetable. You can contact your members and inform them about class booking status, remind them about the upcoming classes and classes they have missed or inform them about changes in the Timetable. Below, there is a list of the most common Automation Events related to Class booking.
User has visited the club
This Event counts the number of members' visits to the club. You can use it to show your appreciation of the club attendance, i.e. by sending a notification on the members' 10th, 20th and 50th visit to the club. You can also provide a surprise gift at a certain stage which will be available at the Front Desk after having shown the notification received.
Personal Training-related Events
These events can be sent to members who have booked Personal Training sessions in your club. You can inform them about the PT booking status, remind them about the upcoming sessions with Personal Trainer and confirm PT booking cancellation as well as their payments.
