Introduction
When linking members in PGM, you can automatically assign the 'relation' tag to the member, based on the relation chosen in the member's profile (data->linked members->add linked member)
You can assign Tags manually or automatically.
- This article will show you how to automatically assign a Tag to club member.
- This article will be helpful to PG Champion, Administrator, Club Manager and Club Owner.
Instruction
Step 1 - Create a new Tag
1. You will need to create tags for the relationship of the linked members first. Setting up tags can be found here.
Step 2 - Create a new rule in the Automation module
1. Go to the PGM->Automation->Automation Rules
2. Click on Add automation rule
3. Enter the name of the automation rule. For this rule we need to set the following parameters:
- Action = Tag
- Event = User relation has been created
4. Fill in the Conditions section if you want to define a particular group of recipients.

Match type - select between:
- Match all - notification will be sent to those recipients who meet all the conditions set up in this section.
- Match any - notification will be sent to those recipients who meet at least one of the conditions set up in this section.
5. Select the Token, Condition and Value. For this rule we need to set the following parameters:
- Token = Type of Relation
- Condition = Equals
- Value = Child
6. Fill in the Action Details section.
- Add Tag - this will add a tag if the chosen condition and value is met.
- Remove Tag - this is not a feature for relation has been created event
From the Tag box, select the Tag you have created in STEP 1 above
7. Click on the Submit button.
Now, when you add a linked member with a relation type (based on the steps set up above), this tag will appear next to a member's name for easy reference.
