Introduction
If you have a club member with a contract freeze and you want to remove it, this article will help you. Members can manage their contract freezes trough the Client portal, besides adding and editing not started freezes, a member can also remove the freeze that has not started yet, or if allowed by configuration remove the currently ongoing one. Current membership freeze notification can also be switched on in the system configuration, it will also allow the user to remove currently ongoing freeze.

How to cancel Freeze in Client Portal?
First, make sure that the freeze contract option is enabled in the Client portal.
1. Go to the PGM -> Settings and find the Client portal category, then Contracts subcategory.
2. Delete the ongoing freeze. This will delete the freeze from user's contract details. "Freeze contract" feature must be enabled in order to select this option.
3. Show notification about currently frozen contract.
- This will show a notification on the top of the screen informing the user that his membership is currently frozen and he/she can remove the freeze.
- You can customize the message displayed and button text in Custom translation sections in PGM overriding those translations:
- ContractFrozenInfo
- CancelCurrentFreeze
- FreezeDeleted

This feature can be used alone without the "Freeze contract" feature enabled in case you do not want to allow members to manage their freezes by themselves. For example, you just need to use this feature during the pandemic period.
Important notes
Please, be aware that in normal circumstances allowing to remove freeze that has already started may be in contradiction to the accounting rules!
