Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to send Automatic Push Notifications (text messages), with the use of Automation rules. Such notifications will be visible to the PerfectGym GO mobile app users. Use this method if you want to send periodic notifications to mass users.
If you would like to send a push notification only once, or to reach certain club members or a very limited group of class participants, use Manual Push Notifications, which work similarly to Newsletters, and are created in the Marketing tab in the PGM - see this article.
Instruction
How to send Push Notifications?
1. Go to the PGM -> Automation -> Automation Rules and add the Automation rule.
2. Define Name, Action (Notification type), and Event.
Event examples:
- Class has been canceled - allows to inform about the class cancellation
- Class has started - reminds about upcoming classes
3. Set conditions (if applicable).
4. Set channel on Push notification to Users.
5. Set notification time (e.g. 60 minutes before class start).
6. Write short content without any dynamic fields.
