Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to add a Trainer or Instructor to the Client Portal, or to the PerfectGym GO Mobile Application. The feature works in the same way both for the Client Portal and the mobile app, where it will be visible i.e. in the Discovery module.
Before you start
- If you want to add a Trainer to the PerfectGym GO Mobile App, you need to make the Instructor feature available. If this feature is not active, contact PerfectGym Support Team.
- To add a Trainer, you need to have an Employee position with a system role - Trainer configured. You can do it in PGM -> Clubs -> Employee position section. Read this article for more information.
Instruction
How to add a Trainer or Instructor?
1. Go to the PGM -> Clubs -> Employees -> Employees
2. Click on the Add new employee button and fill in all the necessary data.
3. Make sure, you set the Position to Trainer - that's very important!
In the example below, both Fitness Coach and Trainer are possible.
4. Assign the Trainer to the club and set availability in clubs
5. Click Add to confirm.
How to assign classes to the Trainer?
1. Go to the PGM -> Classes
2. Here, you can either go to a. Add classes tab, or b. Edit classes tab. Either flow will work.
2a. In the Employee field, choose the Trainer
2b. Select classes in the Calendar and click on the Edit class button
3b. In the Employee field, choose the Trainer.
4. Click Save.
Below, you can see the effect of your action, which is how the Trainer is visible in the Mobile App in the Trainers tile.
How to add the Trainer's description and photo?
This is what you need to do if you want a description and a photo of a Trainer to be displayed in the Class - and Trainer details. Go to the PGM -> Marketing -> Employees descriptions and click on the Add button.
1. Choose the Trainer.
2. You can set the Displayed Name field, which will be displayed in the Mobile app and the Client Portal.
3. On the right side of the page, you can upload the Trainer's photo.
4. In the Content field, you can add the Trainer's description.
Here is how the added Trainer details are displayed in the Client Portal and Mobile app in the Class details and the Instructor Tab in Club details.
