Introduction
This article will show you how to cancel a contract in case a club member wants to resign from it. It would be very useful for club employees who are responsible for members' contract management.
Before you start
The cancellation options are a part of the PGM system permissions and the ability to cancel contracts may be limited to specific system roles. To cancel a contract, please check first, if you have all the necessary system permissions. If you would have to add new system permissions for your role, go to this article and follow the instructions.

How to cancel a contract?
Follow the instructions and watch the video below.
1. Go to the PGM ->Clients -> Clients -> Club Members and select the club member from the list.
2. Enter the Member Profile and select the Contracts tab.
3. Select the Cancellation icon from the right-side menu.
4. Enter the parameters:
- Reason for Cancellation - chose a reason from the predefined list, i.e. End of Contract (there is a possibility to type other reason of cancellation).
- Cancellation date - by default, it is set to the current date. Here, you can also mark the End contract with cancellation date option. In such a case, the End date will be automatically set to the current date.
- End date - select a date from the calendar.
- Delivery method for cancellation - optional - if you want to specify it, you need to add options through dictionaries.
5. Confirm by clicking the Cancel contract button.
Hints
Remember, that upfront payment memberships which have the defined commitment period, i.e. 6-month membership paid upfront, already have an end date. To change it, the Move end date option needs to be used.
