In this article, you will find the most important things to help PG Team work and speed up the configuration process.
Instruction
How to prepare for the configuration?
- Install TeamViewer application (Have in mind that TV password changes after every reboot of application, to avoid sending expired password go to TeamViewer settings (gear icon) -> Advanced -> personal password or send TV password just before configuration).
- Prepare list of devices which should work with POS station and application of that devices (make sure that devices connected via internet are in the same network as POS station).
After those 2 steps you are ready to schedule suitable date for configuration session with our consultant.
What is needed while configuration process?
- Administrator credentials - It is very important! If it is not possible to provide us Administrator credentials because of company Terms and Conditions, Security reasons etc. one of employees with access to the PC should know that credentials and be able to insert them when needed (have in mind that depending on the number of devices, PG Consultant may ask many times to insert credentials)
- Employee on site - it is necessary to have a person on site who can test if devices work properly (test scan, test print etc.), restart the PC or unplug/plug in device.
- POS station must be free of use - to make process go smoothly and fast please avoid using PC by the time configuration is not finished.
Hints
In case of any uncertainties feel free to ask PG consultant before configuration.
If any device on the list is not delivered yet or ready to use before configuration date please don't forget to report this to PG consultant.
