What is Smart Tile?
Smart Tile turns access control and checking-in ‘on-its-head’, making a mobile phone the reader, and the QR code or contactless tag the location identifier. It allows users to unlock doors or register themselves at any location, simply by scanning a Smart Tile with their mobile device.
Smart Tile solution provides an inexpensive, easy-to-deploy alternative to traditional card, pin code or QR code-based readers, with no need for power. By linking the account to an individual mobile phone, Smart Tile stops credential sharing, a problem with all traditional solutions, whilst delivering an easy-to-use customer experience.
What is the scope of integration
The integration aims to enable fitness club members to check in at club locations using the Perfect Gym GO mobile app in combination with Smart Tile's access control system.
The primary goal is to enhance the user experience by providing seamless access control via mobile devices. Club members will use the Perfect Gym GO mobile app to interact with Smart Tile’s QR-based access control system, ensuring convenient and efficient entry.
- Integration covers QR-based access control system
- NFC-based access control methods are explicitly outside the scope of this integration.
- CCTech (Smart Tile) integrates with Perfect Gym using the Perfect Gym API to pull member data required for access validation.
- CCTech (Smart Tile) maintains a full control over all devices and gates in the clubs. Perfect Gym do not manage or control these systems.
How does it work for club member?

The club member opens the Perfect Gym GO app.

The member selects the “Scan QR Code” option.

(Optional) If the member has linked family members (e.g., children), they can choose for whom the scan should be performed.

The Perfect Gym GO app activates the mobile phone camera to scan the QR code.

The app sends the scanned QR code data along with the user’s ID to Smart Tile.

Smart Tile interacts with the Perfect Gym API to validate the scan and register the visit.

If the member is authorized to enter, Smart Tile unlocks the gate.

Smart Tile sends a response back to the Perfect Gym GO app.

The Perfect Gym GO app displays a response message to the member, indicating success or error.
