Feature description
The following WCAG 2.2 AA features are implemented in the Perfect Gym Go mobile app across key screens and flows.
Color contrast and visibility
- Text and image contrast ratios meet AA compliance across all views.
- Gradients are optimized to ensure consistent readability throughout the app (iOS).
- The White Label Builder includes a contrast notification to help clubs maintain compliant brand colors (iOS).
Screen reader support
- All interactive elements have meaningful labels and descriptions.
- List items — including notifications, classes, products, and trainers — are read as coherent units by screen readers.
- Decorative images are correctly marked so screen readers skip them.
- Navigation buttons (back, close, cancel) include descriptive labels readable by assistive technologies.
Touch targets
- Tap targets for input fields, buttons, radio buttons, and links meet the 24×24 dp minimum required by WCAG 2.2.
- This applies to: password inputs, search bars, buy buttons, social media links, and settings controls.
Navigation and focus order
- Focus and tab order follows a logical sequence across all screens.
- ARIA roles and semantic groupings support correct navigation for users of assistive devices.
Exposed content
- All text content, including elements in complex layouts, is accessible to screen readers.
- Icon-only actions — such as favorites, cancel booking, and QR scanner — announce their purpose to assistive technologies.
