Introduction
This article will show you how entering and exiting the club works on the POSweb.
- This article will be helpful to Club Manager, Reception Manager and Front Desk staff.
Instruction
How to enter the club?
If your club is equipped with a card reader, i.e. at the Front Desk, the turnstiles with a card reader, or biometric reader at the entrance to the club, your members can enter the club through self-service by scanning their membership cards/fingerprint, etc.
After scanning a membership card at the Front Desk, the system will display their Member profile with information about the status (green/yellow/red). Read this article for more details.
Once the card is scanned and the member let in, the system will register the entry and the Member profile will pop up on the right-hand side of the POSweb.
If you want to allow the given members to enter the club even if the system has not let them in, i.e. they are on debt or have a blocking note, etc., you can still let them in by clicking on the Enter to club icon.
How to exit the club?
If your club is equipped with card reader at the reception desk or turnstiles with card or fingerprint reader, once the member scans the card or fingerprint at the exit, you will automatically see that they have left the club.
It is also possible to use the Now in club section on the right side of the POSweb screen. Select a member from the list and click on the Exit from club icon on the left-hand side.
Mind that Now in club displays by default 100 users only.
Hints
You can configure the system in such a way, that members who are on debt will not be allowed to the club.
You can also add a Blocking Note that will prevent members from entering the club.
How to change Now in club display time?
If there are no Access Control readers in your club, the PGM system will automatically "let out" the members who are in the club for more than 4 hours since their entry. If you see any significant discrepancy between Now in club and real time presence in the club, you can:
- Contact the Perfect Gym Support Team and ask them to change the time threshold by switching on Users.DeactivateOverduePresence.Task
- Then, change the time threshold to lower number, i.e. 3-3.5 hours. It will result in Now in club to be more accurate and in line with real time presence in the club.
