Introduction
You will learn form this article how to import and migrate Leads into the CRM.
Before you start
Prepare the import file. You can find the template in the import start page:
You can import following Lead attributes:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone
- Address
Other attributes will be assigned for imported ALL leads in the file. These include:
- Club (required) - you need to import leads per club
- Consultant - you can assign just one consultant. We recommend to assign a person that will later distribute those leads to other consultants.
- Inquired via
- Campaign
- Lead Status (required) - new will be the default value
- Rating
Instructions
- Go to the "Leads" tab in CRM and press the "Import" button (as in screen above).
- Download the import template file and open it in an Excel or Google sheet.
- Put leads into that file and save it as CSV file (Lead attributes you can use have been described above).
- Limits of the number of leads, which can be bulk imported at once are up to 200.
Duplicates are identified by phone or email address depending on configuration. If there are any duplicates, the system will update them (those can be Leads, Guests and Members) - it won't create new Leads. Updating includes adding missing information and optionally overwrite existing Leads (overwrite option can be selected in the next screen).
4. Upload the file as in the image above and click "NEXT".
5. Map fields (headers should be matched automatically if they have the same name). You can choose to overwrite some values if system will found duplicated leads.
6. Select values for the Club, Consultant, Inquired via, Campaign, Lead Status, Rating. As above - you can overwrite values of already existing leads.
7. Select agreements and click "NEXT".
8. You will see the Summary. Press "Import" when you accept it.
9. You will see the results. You can see the details and optionally are able to assign tasks to created Leads.
10. You can also see more details by clicking on SEE DETAILS link.
