Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to configure check-in with QR codes in the Perfect Gym GO2 mobile app.
Before you start
Your club needs to be equipped with QR code readers available at the Front Desk or QR code readers built into the turnstiles at the entrance to the club. You can find the list of supported devices in this article. Make sure your device is on the list.
Instruction
Initial configuration of QR codes availability is performed by the Perfect Gym Support Team or the Implementation Success Team in case of new integrations. Make sure you provide them with the following information needed for a correct configuration (please contact PG Support in this case):
- Device producer and model (should be on the supported devices list);
- IP address of device;
- Device usability (QR code reader, turnstile, etc.).
Having done the initial configuration, define new access logic.
Go to the PGM -> Settings -> Access Logic -> Add Access Logic Definition.
- You should add access logic Name;
- Set the Access Policy on Access Control;
- If you need Custom Access Policy it can be prepared by PG Support and will appear in DDL (please contact PG Support in this case);
- There are some access settings to set, i.e. to block access for members on debt, with expired contract, etc;
- You can limit the access by Gender;
- You should add text content for Successful access notification;
- You should add text content for Unsuccessful access notification;
- In Advanced Settings field Block QR Codes should be set on False;
- In Advanced Settings field Check QR Code Club should be set on True if you want to limit the access by club;
- In Advanced Settings field Check QR Code Validity should be set on True;
- In Access Control Actions field QR Code Mark Usage should be set on True;
- Save the Access Logic Definition.

QR validity period - by definition validity set on 900 seconds, but you can change it with PG Support help (please contact PG Support in this case).
