Introduction
From this article, you will learn about the Digital Member Card feature in mobile applications.
The visibility of member cards can be set during the app configuration process.
Digital member cards can be used especially in two scenarios:
- to identify a Club Member in large facilities in places without access to POSweb station.
- to quickly search for a Club Member in POSweb after a QR code scan.
By default, the Digital Membership card is turned off in the Mobile App. If you would like to turn it on - contact technical support.
The QR code available on the Digital Member Card doesn't allow member access to the club. The only way to enter to the club is through QR Code Mobile Check-in.
QR Code on Digital Member Card
The QR Code presented on the Digital Member Card is an encoded user number. Thanks to that it can be scanned on a POSweb station. As a result member profile pop-ups after a scan and allows easily associate sales with this member. Thanks to that there is no need to search members manually.
By default QR code on the Digital Member Card won't work with access control readers and cannot open gates. However, the very specific and rare configuration of Access Logic that allows treat user number as a club card number might allow that.
Feature description
Press the Profile icon on the bottom navigation bar (2) and then click on the Digital member card button (1).
Then you will see member card with the following information:
- user photo,
- first and last name,
- business number,
- active contract name and expiration date,
- user's home club,
- company logo,
- QR code.
Now you can show your digital member card to the club staff.
What's more, under QR code there is section in which you can see all family members linked to your account. After clicking one of them, new member card for selected member is generated.
You can identify that it is member card for family member when there is Family label with the background of red rounded rectangle at the top of the currently displayed member card.
Membership statuses
Depending on your contract status your member card will look differently:
- when you have active contract you will see contract's name and end date
- (or n/a when contract has no end date)
- when you have no active contract you will see inforomation that you don't have active contract
Branding
This screen in the White Label applications is branded. Meaning that background color is your company color, logo in the bottom right corner is your club's logo etc.
