Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to register and log into the PGGO Universal Mobile Application.
Before you start
The universal app will allow all functionalities only for users with the Go API account.
Required: Download the PGGO Universal Application from a store, then find it using name Perfect Gym Go.
Instructions
Registration with email
- Having opened the app, enter the email address used while joining/registration process.
This email will be used to match the member account in PGM
2. Click Next.
3. Enter First and Last Name.
4. Create the Password.
5. Click Register Now.
This will create an Account in GOApi which is an intermediary database between PGM and the mobile app. This allows users to create accounts and preview clubs (later also acquire memberships) even if they have no membership at the club. As a result, the user will get an additional and independent account.
6. Confirm the email by taping Open email app. You will be redirected to your email app, i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
- Optionally, you can also tap Resend the link or refresh by clicking Already confirmed.
Once the email has been confirmed, there are 3 outcomes possible:
- The membership is found at matched - you can use the app in the context of your club.
- The membership cannot be found - please see FAQ below.
- More than one membership found - you can use the app in the context of your club.
7. Once the e-mail is confirmed, a confirmation message will be displayed.
8. Click Start now! and the application will display a dashboard.
Login for already registered users
1. Having opened the app, enter the email address.
2. Click Next.
3. Enter your Password.
4. Click Login now. You can use the app.
Sending account activation link to members by use of POSweb application
- Go to the POSweb application.
- Search for the Member or Guest you want to send activation link to.
- On User Information screen, you should see the following information: Member doesn't use mobile application.
- Tap Resolve.
- Mobile application status should display information that the link has been sent to their email address.
Troubleshooting
If the app asks you to register, it's probably because your account has not been registered yet. In technical terms, it means that the Client Portal login does not work in the Universal App.
If the password provided is incorrect, the application will display an error message. Otherwise, the application will display the dashboard.
Password reset
Users can also reset the Password by tapping Forgot password? after entering their email in the login view.
You can modify your email reset message template. In order to do so, please contact the Perfect Gym Support Team via Get Support.
Log out
Users can log out from the app by going to the bottom of the Profile section.
Email change
When user's email is changes in PGM couple of things happen depending on the circumstances
- If user has membership in one and only one company and uses only Universal app then nothing happen i.e. email in profile screen is not changed and user login is the old email.
- If user has memberships in more than one company then accounts are disconnected.
FAQs
User's membership was not found
There are numerous reasons why the membership was not found. These include:
- User has a different email address registered at the club (effectively in the PGM)
- User's email address has typos
- User has no email address at the club - just a phone number
- There is more than one member with the same email address. In that case, please contact Perfect Gym Support Team to link the correct account.
Why user's Client Portal login does not work in the app?
The universal app works independently from PGM and thus Client Portal. To use it, a separate account needs to be created. However, the White Label app shares login credentials with Client Portal, which means that you can log into the app using Client Portal credentials.
Who can use the universal app?
The app can be used by anybody - also those users who have no membership at a club. Those users will have a limited view.
Registration and login with Facebook
This feature was disabled in February 2022.
Members using this method need only to reset their Passwords.
- While logging into the app, enter the email associated with your Facebook account and tap Forgot password?
- Tap Send and follow the instructions in the email to create the Password.
