Introduction
Monthly Recurring is the most popular type of Payment Plans. That is why it is so important to learn how to freeze it, when a need arise. You can create different types of Freezes for the Monthly Recurring Payment Plans, which would vary i.e. in price or minimum and maximum freeze period. However, the set up of the basic system settings must stay the same for all types of Freezes.
Based on this article, you will be able to set up your own Freeze type for Monthly Recurring Payment Plans. This article will explain how to create a paid Freeze type with the payment calculated as 20% of the Interval payment. Club member will be able to use it two times within the calendar year. There will be also a limitation added in the in Freeze period set up to minimum 1 month and maximum 2 months. Club member will be also able to add the Freeze via ClientPortal and the first monthly freeze can be added to the Payment Plan during the prorata period.

Instruction
How to create Paid Freeze for Monthly Recurring Payment Plans?
1. Go to the PGM -> Sale -> Membership -> Freeze types.
2. Click on the Add new freeze type button.
3. In the New freeze type window, fill in the following fields:
- Name - enter the name of the Freeze.
- Active - tick this checkbox if you want this Freeze to be active.
- Interval fee percentage - enter 20. This way, the Freeze fee will be calculated as 20% of the Interval payment.
- Usage limit in a calendar year - enter 2. This way, the club member will be able to use this Freeze 2x within the calendar year.
- Scope - select Month. - This way, the Freeze period would be counted in months.
- Minimum period - enter 1. This way, the Freeze period would last from 1 to 2 months.
- Maximum period - enter 2. This way, the Freeze period would last from 1 to 2 months.
- Payment Plans - select all Monthly Recurring Payment plans from the predefined list.
- Clubs - select in which club the Freeze should be available.
- Valid for periods - select the time period when the Freeze will be available for purchase, or tick the Available all the time checkbox.
- Combine with freeze types - assign Freeze types from the predefined list if the member should have a possibility to use different Freeze types under the same Contract.
- Only for chosen employee roles - (optional) tick this checkbox if you want to limit the visibility of this Freeze type to selected roles in your club, i.e. System administrator.
- Visibility - tick the roles from the predefined list.

Only for chosen sources - tick this checkbox to set up the visibility of this Freeze type to specific modules.
- Visibility - tick the following modules: web - Perfect Gym (this website), Client Portal 2, POSweb.
Settings
When you create Freeze type for Recurring Payment Plans, you have to tick 2 checkboxes in the Settings field:
- Move contract end date and commitment date
- Allow freeze during prorata period
4. Click on the Insert button.
