Introduction
This article describes how to raise the contract membership fee using the Contract discount mechanism.
- This article is recommended to PG Champion, Administrator, Club Manager and Club Owner. It is also for all those club staff members who manage payment plans and contract discounts.
- If you wish to use this feature, contact the Perfect Gym Support Team and ask them to adjust the Contract.Discount.PriceIncreaseDiscountType.Enabled
setting.
The feature will be available since R91
Instruction
Go to the PGM -> Sale -> Contract discounts.
Add a new contract discount type.
Pick "Membership fee" and select "Increase by percent since month chosen by user".
This type of membership discount (raise) cannot be combined with admin/joining/pro rata discounts. It also cannot modify the commitment period.
The relevant fields will be disabled when you pick the "increase" discount type.
This feature is limited to usage within the PGM.
The price increase can be combined with classic discounts, please be aware that the order of discounts applied to the contract is important.
Example
Discount X with type "Set at fixed value", with the amount set to 10.
Discount Y with type "Increase by percent since month chosen by user", percent value: 10.
Contract with membership fee 100$/month.
Scenario 1:
Discount X applied first.
Membership fee = 10$ * 1,1 = 11$
(first system applied the "fixed value" discount with the amount of 10$, then applied a 10% raise)
Scenario 2:
Discount Y applied first:
Membership fee = 10$
(first system implemented a price increase -> 110$, but then applied the "fixed value" discount with the amount of 10$)
