Introduction
Pay as you go Freeze can be used both in case of Upfront Payment Plans and Monthly Recurring Payment Plans. However, from this article, you will learn how to create Pay-as-you-go Freeze for Monthly Recurring Payment Plans.
Pay-as-you go feature enables the club member to purchase the Freeze option in advance and use it later, when a need arise. The Freeze will be configured as a Product with the type defined as Service and it will be available for purchase on POSweb as a regular Product.
Based on this article, you will be able to set up your own Freeze type for Monthly Recurring Payment Plans. This article will explain how to create a paid Freeze type with a fixed fee, i.e. 1 EUR per each day of Freeze. If the currency in your country is different, the default currency will be automatically added by the system. There will be no usage limit for this Freeze. Club member will be also able to add the Freeze via ClientPortal. There will be a possibility to freeze the Contract during the prorata period.

Read the following article and familiarize with the logic of Payment Plans and the description of all fields that are available to be selected during Payment Plan configuration. You can also check what the Monthly Recurring Payment Plan is.
Instruction
STEP 1
How to create a Product that allows to buy Pay-as you-go Freeze?
1. Go to the PGM -> Sale -> POS management -> Products
2. Click on the Add new product button.
3. In the Products window, fill in the following fields:
- Name - you have to give a name to the Product. It will be, by default, visible on a receipt, POSweb, in relevant reports and other applications.
- Category - selecting a pre-defined category will enable for product grouping and quicker POSweb product panel management.
- Sell price (default) - enter the price for the Product and select if it is gross or net value.
- Vat - select the tax rate.
- Store state for the user - thick this checkbox to make the Product usage visible in POS.
Type
Service - select this option. This way, the system will define the Freeze Product as a Service.
Service type
From the predefined list, select PrepaidFreeze.
Clubs
- Tick the clubs where the Product should be available for purchase.
- Add to new clubs - tick this checkbox if the Product should be automatically assigned to all new clubs.
5. Click on the Insert button to save the changes.
STEP 2
How to create Pay-as-you-go Freeze for Monthly Recurring Payment plans?
1. Go to the PGM -> Sale -> Membership -> Freeze types.
2. Click on the Add new freeze type button.
3. In the New freeze type window, fill in the following fields:
- Name - enter the name of the Freeze.
- Is prepaid - tick this checkbox if you want to create the Pay-as-you-go freeze
- Prepaid product - select the Product, that you have created in Step 1
- Scope - select Day. This way, the Freeze period would be counted in Days.
- Payment Plans - select the chosen Monthly Recurring Payment plan from the predefined list.
- Clubs - select in which club the Freeze should be available.
- Valid for periods - select the time period when the Freeze will be available for purchase, or tick the Available all the time checkbox.
- Combine with freeze types - assign Freeze types from the predefined list if the member should have a possibility to use different Freeze types under the same Contract.
- Only for chosen employee roles - (optional) tick this checkbox if you want to limit the visibility of this Freeze type to selected roles in your club, i.e. System administrator.
- Visibility - tick the roles from the predefined list.

Only for chosen sources - tick this checkbox to set up the visibility of this Freeze type to specific modules.
- Visibility - tick the following modules: web - Perfect Gym (this website).

Settings
When you create Freeze type for Monthly Recurring Payment Plans, you have to tick 2 checkboxes in the Settings field:
- Move contract end date and commitment date
- Allow freeze during prorata period
4. Click on the Insert button.
