Introduction
This article describes how to override global and/or custom limits for class bookings within a category. It could be necessary if you want to distinguish members by giving different booking limits according to the Payment plan.
- This article will show you how can you use Payment plans with Contract extras [membership add-ons] (BookingLimitOverride) to do so. You can add BookingLimitOverride to the main Payment plan and to the Additional payment plan as well.
- This article will be helpful to PG Champion, Administrator and Club Owner.
Example
There are two club members: Member A and Member B. The current global booking limit for all members is 1. It means that Member A and Member B can book 1 class within the category. Now, we want to add a new Payment plan (Plan B) by the use of Contract extra [membership add-on], which is a new booking limit (2) for members, who buy this new Payment plan. Member B has bought the Plan B, and now, the booking limit for them is 2 bookings within the class category.

Instruction
Create Contract extras [membership add-on] in the PGM
Contract extras [previously called an Membership add-on] can have a form of a Product or Service which can be automatically added to a Contract. It can be i.e. a first session with Personal Trainer or a different booking limit.
How to set up a new booking limit by the use of Contract extras in the PGM?
1. Go to the PGM -> Sale -> Membership -> Contract extras
2. Click on the Add new Contract extras button.
3. Fill in the fields:
- Name - enter the name of the Add-on.
- Club Service Type - select BookingLimitOverride
- Related time table events - choose class categories within you want to override booking limit.
- Booking limit - set a new booking limit.
- Recurring booking limit - set a recurring booking limit (defines the number of future recurring definitions per user allowed) if it is required.
If you do not want to leave limits as they are - without overriding its value, tick Do not override.
Booking limits will override global booking limits and class category booking limits for every Contract with this Contract extras [membership add-on].
