Introduction
This article explains how to deal with errors with the Elavon payment terminals.
Instruction
1. Check whether the payment terminal is connected to the Internet.
2. If so, check if the terminal Ip is visible in the local network.
We recommended using a free software for scanning Ip: AdvanceIpScanner.
3. If the payment terminal is visible, check the connection between the computer, the device and the firewall because it may interfere with the connection. To check the connection between devices, open the console command:
- Win+R
- Type CMD
- In console type ping (Ip of terminal) and click Enter.
- If the device is responding to the connection attempts, reset the DeviceIntegrator service and test the payment terminal.
- If the device is not responding, switch off the firewall in Windows and try once more.
- If the payment terminal has not been responding, contact the Elavon services.
4. If the payment terminal is not visible, try to reset it. If IP of device is still not visible, contact your terminal service provider.
