Skipping Joining fee when reactivating Contract - Contract.IsContractContinued.DaysDiff setting

Introduction

In this article, you will learn how to eliminate the Joining fee for members that re-activate their membership within a specific time period.

All you need to do, is to understand how this feature works and let the Perfect Gym Support Team know, that you want to use it. 

• After walking through this guide, you will be able to better control which members are charged Joining fees in-between contract and when they're not charged Joining fees.
• This article will be helpful to PG Champions, and Club managers that are responsible for modifying the club configuration.

Instruction

1. Analyze the below example in the Feature Description part and make sure that you understand it.
2. Now, define how much time between ended Contracts members' shouldn't be charged a joining fee when re-activating a new membership. 
3. Next, contact the Perfect Gym Support Team and ask them to modify this setting: Contract.IsContractContinued.DaysDiff and include the number of days defined above within the configuration. 
4. Go to the PGM -> Clients -> Clients ->Club members, select the re-joining member and open their Profile. Check, if the Joining fee was skipped according to the defined set up.

How to define which re-activated members are exempt from being charged a joining fee again

1. imagine you have a member that had a contract end on the 3rd of June 2022, and the contract doesn't auto-renew. 
   
   
    
2. Let's define within what time frame members' contracts that have been canceled are exempt from paying a joining fee using the setting "Contract.IsContractContinued.DaysDiff" = 30 days. If the setting is set to 30 days, then the member is exempt from paying a joining fee if they sign up for another contract within 30 days. 
3. Let's take a look at the new contract signed/started on the 2nd of July, on the 29th day of the Joining fee exemption, and take a further look at the charges applied for the new contract.
4. Let's look over the member's previous transaction history to identify if a Joining fee had been charged on the Archived contract from Picture 1
