Introduction
In this article, you will find information on how to set up Contract Discount on a payment plan with the first free interval. You will find here the description of the most important options and fields that are available to be selected during configuration.

Before you start
Set up a new Payment Plan with 1 month payment interval and 1 year commitment period.

Instruction
How to add Contract discount on payment plan with free first interval?
1. Go to the PGM -> Sale -> Membership -> Contract discounts.
2. In the right top corner, click on the Add new contract discount type button to create a new Contract Discount.

3. Select the indicated options from the screen below. The most important is to select Lower by percent for number of first interval and then type 100% which reduce first payment to 0.
4. Connect and assign the discount with your Payment Plan.
5. Click Insert button to save the configuration.
Lower by percent for number of first months means that if you enter the percentage of the Discount you want to give to your club members and define the number of the discounted months. The system will assign the discount to the first months of the Contract.
6. After adding the payment plan to a member you will see that on profile that there will be no pro rate and first payment as on the screen below:
