Introduction
Goods are physical products that you can purchase in the system e.g. protein shakes or a bottle of water. To sell goods at your club, you must first add them to the warehouse. This way, you can keep control over your club stock.

Instruction
How to create a Goods Product Type in PGM
1. Go to PGM -> Sale -> POS Management -> Products.
2. Click on the Add new product button in the upper right corner.
3. In the new pop-up window select Goods type and click Next to continue.
4. Fill in the appropriate fields:
Name - create a name for the product, this field must be unique.
Category - assign the good into a category. This is used for selected reports.
To add a new category click Add category button.
To modify a category, go to PGM -> Sale -> Product Categories.
Description - create a longer description for the product.
Units - select the unit of measurement. For goods must be set to piece.
List price - this is the default price of the product.
If you wish to have different product prices per club, Go to PGM->Clubs->List of clubs press the ●●●, and select Club Product Price Lists.
GROSS/NET - select if the tax is included or not in the sell price.
- GROSS - tax included in price.
- NET - tax is NOT included in the price and will be added at the time of sale.
Allow price modification on POS - If this is ticked, then any employee processing the sale on POSWeb can manually override the price. If unticked then the employee cannot override the price.
VAT - select from the dropdown list a fixed tax. This is used for regions where a single tax rate is applied to a product.
Due to changes in tax law, it may be necessary to adjust the VAT rates for the product created. If such a situation arises, please modify the VAT rate accordingly when editing the product, and remember to save the changes.
GTU CODE is used only in Poland if you want to enable it go to PGM -> Settings -> System settings -> /settings/structure/Product/Common and tick the checkbox under /settings/setting.Product.Configuration.GtuCode.IsVisible. This setting is available from R.92 system version onwards.
Other taxes - if your region uses multiple tax rates, select the taxes applicable here.

Clubs – open a dropdown list and click the checkboxes next to the clubs where you want to make the product available.
Applications – open a dropdown list and click the checkboxes next to the apps in which you want to make the product available.
Select all future clubs - if you want the product to be available in future clubs click the checkbox next to it or leave it blank.
Available for - select who can buy the product.
- Everyone - any club member or guest can buy the product.
- Members with active contract - only club members with an active contract can buy the product (if a member is on freeze or not started, they will not be able to buy the product).
- Specific payment plans - same as 'For members with active contract', but only for selected payment plans where the club member has an active contract.
- During registration - product is only available during the registration process.
- Specific Tags - select Client Tags. Learn more.
- Users without contracts - only guests can buy this product.
Products limitations
Product is a contract starter pack - if this is turned on, then the product can be used as a starter pack.
Product can be purchased only one time – if this is turned on, then the product cannot be used more than one time on the same member account.
Threshold - set a minimum quantity of goods to have in the warehouse. After reaching the threshold POSweb will remind you about restocking with an exclamation mark on the products icon. Products threshold will be also visible in the warehouse reports.
Barcodes - if you have a barcode scanner integrated with your POS station, you can easily add barcodes from the products to the system.
Hints
- Goods must be added to the Warehouse. Only after that, you can sell it. for more information on how to do it go to this article.
- Goods can be purchased at the Point Of Sale station in your club. After the creation of the products, you have to add them to the POSweb panel. Go to this article to get more information about this configuration.
- Once you’ve created the product, the product type cannot be changed. If you want to change the product type to Services or create a Bundle, you’ll need to delete or deactivate the product and create a new one with the correct type.
