This guide is for any facility booking definitions where additional pricing is used. This price rise will also change existing booking pricing.

If you wish to not change existing booking pricing where additional pricing is used, please create a new booking rule within this definition and use "Daily Availability" to filter when pricing should start.

If you wish to change the price of a product (casual booking) then update the price in PGM->Sale->Products or PGM->Settings->System Settings->Support Tools->Products Prices.
Instruction
The bulk price increase function is effective when applying the same price or percentage increase to multiple definitions.
1. To increase the prices of facility booking definitions in bulk, go to PGM → Settings → Support Tools.
2. Click on Facility Booking Definition.
3. Use the filters to find the facility booking definitions for which you wish to raise the booking fee:
- Facility Booking Definition - Choose the facility booking definitions you want to change the price for.
- Club Zone Type - Select the club zone types for which you want to change the price.
- Effective from - This shows the effective from date.
- Price - This displays the current price of the facility booking definition.
4. Select the facility booking definitions for which you wish to increase the price by ticking the checkbox to the left of each facility booking definition. If you want to select all facility booking definitions, tick the box next to the heading Facility Booking Definition.
5. Press Update Selected. A pop-up window will appear.
6. Set the rules for the price increase.
- Type - Choose between a percentage increase or an amount increase.
- Amount - Enter the amount or percentage by which you want to increase the price.
- Effective From - Enter the date on which the price increase will take effect.
6. Once entered, press Simulate to preview the new price, which will appear in the New Price column.
7. Press Save to confirm and apply your changes.
The effective from date will change the bookings at the new rates
Example 1 - Facility Booking Definition price increase by amount
The example below demonstrates a price increase of $2.00 for the facility booking definitions.
Example 2 - Facility Booking Definition price increase by percentage
The example below demonstrates a price increase of 3% for the facility booking definitions.
How does the Facility Booking Definition price increase look on the Member Profile?
In this example, the facility booking definition "Court Hire - Corporate Booking" has a price increase scheduled for October 15, 2024, changing from $15.00 to $17.00.
For this member, half of their bookings in October will be charged at the current price of $15.00, while the other half will be charged at the new price of $17.00.
Bookings made on or after the effective date of the price increase will reflect the new price.

- If you make a mistake completing the new price schedule, you can delete the new 'schedule' within the actual facility booking definition in PGM > Classes > Facility bookings definitions. More information can be found here.
