Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to configure editing permissions for member profile data and company information in Client Portal 2 (CP2). You’ll be able to grant your members access to edit either one or both of these sections based on your club's preferences and setup.

Before you start
Before you start, make sure that:
- You can access PGM Settings > System settings > Client Portal > Members.
- The setting ClientPortal.Registration.InvoiceDetails.Enabled is turned on.
- You have the right permissions to change system settings in PGM.

1. Go to: PGM Settings / System settings / Client Portal / Members
2. Turn on: ClientPortal.Registration.InvoiceDetails.Enabled
3. Choose these settings:
Member can modify profile dataMember can modify company data
4. Save your changes.

STEP 1 - Enable and configure editing permissions
- Navigate to:
PGM Settings > System settings > Client Portal > Registration - Locate the setting ClientPortal.Registration.InvoiceDetails.Enabled and enable it.
- Once enabled, go to:
PGM Settings > System settings > Client Portal > Members. The system will show two new permission settings:Member can modify profile dataMember can modify company data
- Configure these settings based on your club's requirements:
Option A: Allow editing only company data
- Turn on:
Member can modify company data - Turn off:
Member can modify profile data
Result: Members can change company information, but personal data is read-only.
Option B: Allow editing only profile data
- Turn on:
Member can modify profile data - Turn off:
Member can modify company data
Result: Members can change personal information, but company data is read-only.
Option C: Allow editing of both
- Turn on both:
Member can modify profile dataandMember can modify company data
Result: Members can change both personal and company information.
STEP 2 - What can members edit in the Client Portal?
Members can edit different fields depending on your settings.
- If “Member can modify company data” is on, then in CP2 > Account tab > Edit Profile, members can see and change the following fields:
- "I want to receive an invoice" (checkbox)
- TAX ID
- City
- Address (Street, house no., apartment no.)
- Company Name
- Country
- Postal code
- Extra address details
Members can see but not change:
- Citizenship
- Personal address
- Phone number
- If “Member can modify profile data” is on, in CP2 > Account tab > Edit Profile, members can see and change:
- Citizenship
- Personal address
- Phone number
Members can see but not change:
- Company details such as TAX ID and company name
- If both settings are on, members can change everything in both personal and company sections.
