Introduction
This article is about the Clash Check functionality in Perfect Gym. This feature is designed to prevent scheduling conflicts by checking the availability of zones when you create a new personal training booking. It helps ensure that a zone, such as a studio or a specific area in the gym, isn't double-booked for different activities.
-
In this article, you will learn how the clash check functionality works within Perfect Gym.
-
This article will be helpful for PG Champions, System Administrators, and Fitness Managers.

Instruction
The Clash Check functionality ensures that when you add personal training bookings, the system automatically verifies if the selected zone is available at the chosen time. If the zone is occupied by another event (from the Classes module or Facility Booking module), a pop-up window will appear, listing the conflicting zones and events.
This functionality works when:
1. Adding a single personal training session on the Personal Training Calendar
When you create a new personal training booking, the system will check for any conflicting events. If a clash is detected, a pop-up window will display a validation message with details about the zones that are already booked.
-
The pop-up shows the details of the conflicting events.
-
The button Allow booking allows the user to force the system to add the booking despite the clash.
This Override button is only available to employees who have theSystemManPersonalTrainingsOmitClashCheckpermission.
2. Adding recurring personal training sessions on the Personal Training Calendar
For recurring bookings, the system checks each calculated date to see if there are any clashes. As with single bookings, a window will display information about which zones have events already scheduled at the specified times.
To allow forcing the addition of these bookings, the user must have the appropriate SystemManPersonalTrainingsOmitClashCheck permission.
