Introduction
This article will guide you on the set up of hourly availability within the facility booking definitions.
Hourly availability will restrict the use of the facility booking rule to only be used on selected times of the day. This can be useful for peak/off peak pricing.
For example, If the hourly availability is set to only be available on Monday 9:00am to 3:00pm, the booking rules can only be used if the booking start date and time is within this period.
A booking cannot go over two different booking rules. For example, if you set up this rule to have off peak and peak pricing, a booking cannot start in one period, and finish in another.
Creating new limitations
Within the facility booking definition, go down to the option Hourly availability.
Click on the drop down menu and press Create new limitations.
Name - Select a unique name for this hourly availability
The rule can be applied to multiple facility booking definitions and rules.
Day - Select the day this rule will work on
From / To - Select the time range on this day that the rule will work on.
Add period - To create a new entry on this table, press Add period.
Press Save to complete this process.
Hint on creating hourly availability
- If you need to create multiple times on the same day, create multiple entries on the same day with the different times.
- The times cannot overlap when doing this.
- The order does not have the be accurate.
Editing existing limitations
To edit an existing hourly availability, press Edit on a rule that is using that hourly availability.
This will affect all rules using this availability.
To delete an existing hourly availability, press Delete on a rule that is using that hourly availability.
