Introduction
When members book a facility through the PG Go mobile app, only the Pay Now option is available — the Add to Cart button is not shown. In the desktop version of Client Portal 2, both options are available.
This difference is intentional and by design.
Why "Add to Cart" is hidden in PG Go
The "Add to Cart" button is intentionally hidden in the mobile app context. This decision was made because the cart flow in mobile was causing false booking confirmations without actual payment, which led to automatic cancellations and revenue loss for gyms.
What this means for members and clients
- Members booking a facility through PG Go must use the "Pay Now" flow to complete the booking.
- Discount codes applied via the shopping cart are not supported in PG Go mobile app. Discount codes can only be applied when booking through Client Portal 2 on a desktop or mobile browser.
