Introduction
Activity categories and levels in PerfectGym shows what level the student is at in the course.
Categories are separated by the type of activity (for example: gymnastics, learn to swim) then have levels within that group (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3)
Activity categories can also have restrictions on which course the student can enroll into, so any level higher than what the club member has will be denied.
Before you start
You must have access to the course module and trainer portal, please contact sales for more information.
Any changes to activity categories and levels , while it's being used, will affect all current students in the courses as they may lose their levels or affect how they achieve the next level.

Starting from R.93 system version, you can set up an activity category with one level (and no questionnaire) and this will appear on the client portal as part of the registration flow. To enable this option, please ask our Technical Support Team to enable the setting: ClientPortal.Courses.ShowActivityCategoriesWithOneLevelAtRegistration
During this phase, you can configure skills within the level by selecting Yes under 'Has skills'. More information on the setup of skills can be found in ‘Configuring Skill Levels’.
It is recommended to create the levels first, then edit each level and add skills.
Pressing Show levels will display the members' level in order from lowest level to highest level.
To reorder the levels, use the ꓥ ꓦ arrows on the levels.
Pressing Edit will allow you to change the name of the level, modify the skills within the level, or add a picture to the selected levels.
Starting from R.93 system version, you can add an image to each member level in the Edit option. For the best display quality, we recommend using images with a 1:2 aspect ratio. To enable this option, please ask our Technical Support Team to enable the setting: BookingsSettings.ActivityCategories.IsActivityLevelImagesFeatureEnabled
Images will be visible on Account-> Skills Tab in Customer Portal:
Pressing Delete will delete the level.
Any students who are in that current level will need to be moved to another level, this can be done in the timetable, group or on the club member profile. They will remain at that level until moved.
If the delete button is not visible, there are students and classes using this activity level.
Hints
If you are setting up a course where no skill levels are required, you will need to create one activity category with one activity level in it. This is required for the course module.
