Introduction
Within the course module, there are a number of modules to set up prior to creating a Holiday Program. Please follow the steps carefully.

How to set up a holiday program in the courses module
1. Define the Holiday Program Dates

Setting the date range for the holiday program ensures that all classes, contracts, and enrolments fall within the specified term. This creates a fixed holiday period within the course structure.

2. Set Up Payment Plan:

A payment plan defines the due dates and structure for payments related to the Holiday Program enrolments. This step ensures that a single plan can be reused for future school holiday course enrolments.

3. Create Class Categories:

Class categories help organise different class types under the same Activity Category Levels used within your term programs, ensuring that each has a distinct price point within enrolment rules.
Since Holiday Programs typically have a higher price point, this step allows you to use a separate Enrolment Rule, distinct from your regular term classes.
Important: Ensure that “Classes are additionally paid” is selected. The return policy should be configured within the enrolment rules. (Step 4)

3.a Create Class Types using the existing Activity categories levels
- Once class categories are set up, you need to create individual class types that link the category to activity levels and age limits.

4. Create Enrolment Rule
- Enrolment rules define the pricing that members will pay upfront. Before setting up enrolment rules, you must have:
✅ A payment plan in place
✅ Class categories created

5. Create a Group for users
- Create a Holiday group(s).

5.a Create Classes within Group
- Since the Holiday group has been created you can now set up individual classes within it. Ensure that Class Categories, Activity Categories/Levels, and Age Limits are consistent between the Class Type and the Group to avoid mismatches.

6. Enrolments
Once all steps are complete, members and/or users can now be enrolled into groups. This can be done through the Client Portal or PGM.
