Introduction
This guide will take you through the process of batch editing classes, Only the trainer/instructor or class capacity can be modified
Before you start
To enable Batch edit class feature, the employee permission Batch edits will need to be turned on. Additionally System administration->Time tables->Time table -> Edit -> All needs to be turned on to allow edits of any classes..
This can be found in PGM->Clubs->Employee Permissions
Instruction
To batch edit classes, Go to PGM->Classes->Timetable to access the timetable then press the orange additional option button and press Batch class edit.
Batch edit is designed to change the teacher or capacity of the class.
Class filter details
Club - Select the club where the edit will take place.
Club Zone - Filter to only classes within a club zone. If you select the parent zone, this will include all classes within the child zones.
Class type - This will filter only selected class types.
- All Classes - Will display all classes, regardless if they are connected to a group/course or not.
- Single classes - Will only display classes that are not connected to a group/course.
- Courses - Will only display classes connected to a group/course.
Class category - Filter to only classes within the class category.
Trainer - Select the current trainer, this is a required field as the main function of batch edit classes is to change the trainer/instructor.
From - Select the from date, this will display all classes from this date. This is a required field and will default to current date.
To - Select the to date, this will display all classes up to this date. This is an optional field, if the to date is blank, the edit is for all classes and will apply to new classes generated.
Class start time/Class end time - Select a time range on when the class are run, to only edit those classes.
Class occurence - Select if the filter should display all classes, or only if the class falls on selected days of the week.
This feature will be released in R85.
Modification values
The section highlighted here is designed to apply to all classes displayed in this screen.
New trainer - Select the new trainer which will take over these classes.
New users limit - If changing capacity of classes, this will update the values of the capacity to this new number for all classes below. (optional)
No user limit - Selecting this tick box will override the capacity to have unlimited capacity. (optional)
Press Update values will update all classes with these values.
Listed below the mass update is the list of individual classes, where you can select the trainer or change the capacity of the class on an individual class.
Using the tick box to the left of each class, you can select the classes which require the update.
Using the tick box next to the column header Name, this will select all classes to edit.
Press Submit to continue and start the batch edit of classes.
This will produce a warning with a count of the amount of classes which will be modified, press Yes to continue.
