Introduction
A custom attribute allows you to introduce additional data fields into the PGM system and also the can be visible when new customers join your club via Client Portal. This is to allow customization of club-specific information about members, plans and classes. For instance, in addition to Name, Last Name, etc.in the Member's profile, you can add your own field - e.g. a parking lot number also add medical information
Before you start
Before you start please read the instructions How to set up Custom attributes in PGM.
Instruction
If you want to add an additional field to your Client Portal, i.e. Medical Information, first you need to add the option field TRUE or NO that members can choose in the specific field of medical questionnaires.
1. Go to the PGM -> System Settings -> Custom Attributes -> Dictionaries -> Add dictionary -> Add Item
The next step is adding a questions about the health condition to your medical questionaire.
Go to the PGM -> System Settings -> Custom Attributes -> Add Category "Medical Information" and from category type please choose User:
Once a category has been created, you can now add an attribute.
A new form will appear. Here, you enter attribute parameters:
- Make sure you enter as many languages as spoken by club employees using the system.
- Is required – select if the attribute is to be mandatory. Otherwise, it will be an optional field.
Data type. There you choose the type of the data that your custom field will accept.
The types you can use are listed below:
- Signed integer - can also have a negative value.
- Unsigned integer – only positive values.
- Yes/No
- Boolean - true or false
- String – allows typing any words and numbers.
- Date – allows selecting a date from the calendar.
Medical questionaire will be visible during registration process:
Once saved, the attribute will be displayed in the member's profile in Data / Information Tab, for example:
You may find the Data from Custom Attributes in All Contracts Report added as last columns
Hints
- This field will be visible in Club member data for and also in the Guest data form. We do not have option to restrict if this additional field will be visible for guests or members only.
- You are able to restrict if this field if can be visible in the Client Portal or POS but it always will be visible in PGM
