Introduction
From this article, you will learn how to set up several different Commission thresholds for Product sold on POSweb. This will be especially useful when you would like to increase the sale of a whole product category, i.e. food, or a given product, i.e. salad, with a short expiry date. This way, your employees would be assigned a financial bonus for each product included within the given Commission Schedule, which they have successfully sold on POSweb. The results of their actions will be reflected in the Commission's report for a given period of time.
- This article shows how to set up different Commission thresholds for products sold on POSweb.
- This article is dedicated for PG Champion, Administrator, Club Manager and Club Owner.

Use Case
Assumptions
- We want to assign Commissions for every salad sold on POSweb to all employees.
- Salad gross price = 10 EUR.
- We want the Personal Trainer's commission to be calculated differently than other employees - they will get 25% of the salad gross price, starting from the first sale = 2,5 EUR for each salad sold.
- Up to third salad sold, the Commission value for every employee, except for Personal Trainer, will be 10% of the salad gross price = 1 EUR.
- From the third salad sold, the Commission value for every employee, except for Personal Trainer, will increase to 50% of the salad gross price = 5 EUR.
- We want this new rule to Override the previous one.
This means that in the Commissions Report you will see the change in the Commission value of the first two salads sold from 1 EUR per each salad to 5 EUR. Personal Trainer's commission will stay 2,5 EUR for each salad sold all the time, as this is governed by a different rule.

- Column B - Employee last name
- Column C - Employee login
There are two employees with the Commission assigned. You will see that one of them is a Trainer, whom the Commission was assigned differently.
2. Information about the Commission:
- Column D - Commission type - it can be either product, service or contract sale.
- Column E - Commission rule - the name of the rule entered to the system when configuring the commission.
- Column F - Commission base - the action which the commission is assigned for.
- Column G - Commission base value - the number of products, services or contracts sold.
- Column H - Commission value - the total value of the commission assigned.
- Column I - Club name - the name of the club related with the employee.
- Column J - Company - the name of the company to which the club belongs.
From the R.92 system version onwards the Club and Company columns are visible in the report.
Jack Black sold the salad four times. John Smith - the Personal Trainer - only once. According to the Assumptions made, their Commission is calculated differently:
- Personal Trainer gets 2,5 EUR for each salad sold.
- Other employee gets 1 EUR for each salad sold. However, from the third salad sold the calculation rule changes into 5 EUR for each salad, so in total 4x 5 EUR = 20 EUR.
Hints
- We recommend clicking on Add new Commission table specific for employees and assign higher Commission for specifying roles other than Reception. This way you will be able to motivate and engage Personal trainers or other employees not directly connected to product sale in your actions. Mind that in this case these roles have to have POSweb sale option enabled.
- Also, it is necessary for the Employees to be logged into the POSweb on their own accounts when selling the product. Otherwise, in the Commissions Report their results will not be visible under their own name.
- However, if such thing happens, you can easily change the Employee data in the PGM -> Clients -> Club Members. Enter the Member Profile of the member who purchased the Product, go to Transactions tab and search for that particular transaction. Click on the three dots icon and select Change Employee.
- If you don't remember who the Buyer was, go to the POS Transactions log details report and check the given transaction details.
- By default, the Commissions Report shows the results for a selected period. However, if you have just sold a product and would like to see if it was included in the Commissions Report, click on the Recalculate Commissions button. This way, you will be able to generate the updated Report.
- We also recommend checking which products have short expiry date in the Warehouse state. This way, you will be able to create a separate Commission Rule and grant the Commission for selling these products in the first place.
