Introduction
This article shows how to allow Employees only to enter the club. This way, none of the club members will be able to access the facility. This feature can be useful when the club closes temporarily. It can also be used to prevent access to 24-hour gyms in case of emergency.
Instruction
You will need to tell the system to block access to your readers. If you are using an API / 3rd Party company for access, please contact them to block access.
1. Go to PGM -> Settings -> Access Logic
2. Click on Devices - these are the devices connected to the Perfect Gym system.
If you have no devices listed, contact the Perfect Gym Support Team.
3. Click on Access Logic Definitions - this is the rules that the device will use to allow access.
4. Click on Access Logic Definitions to add a new definition to close the gym.
5. Press Add to create a new logic.
6. Fill in the following information:
- Name - add a useful name to what this Access Logic Definition is about. I.e. Close of Gym.
- Access Policy - set as Access Control
- Check Club Presence - set as True - so you must be in the club in order to gain access * - see the yellow Note box below
- Check Lack of Club Presence - set as True - so you cannot be in the club in order to gain access * - see the yellow Note box below
*Note: These two rules will prevent the club member from gaining access as they conflict with each other.
- Employee Policy - select to Bypass all, so employee cards can get in.
- Unsuccessful Scan Text - select what will be displayed when a card gets rejected.
7. In Advanced Settings and Access Control Actions – Leave all settings here as False, Except for Log unsuccessful card swipes.
8. Press Save to continue.
9. To stop access, select the Device and press Edit.
10. Select the new Access Logic to close the door.
11. Press Save.
Please test the device to ensure you cannot get in using a member’s card.
