Introduction
Access Control enables you to control and monitor access to the club for employees, club members and guests in an easy and intuitive way.
- This article will show you how the Access Control works and describe, how to prepare your devices for remote installation.
- This article will be useful for new Clients who start working with the PGM system and/or set up a new club. It is dedicated to PG Champion, Administrator or a Technician responsible for preparation of the club hardware.
Before you start
Before you start to fill in the needed file and gather information, please make sure that:
- Your club has access to the Internet,
- You met our requirements, we recommend using Windows 10 (check it here),
- Your chosen Access Control devices are compatible with the Perfect Gym Software (check it here),
- You have already the TeamViewer installed on the Access server computer (How to install this?),
- You informed Perfect Gym Team, when the remote installation may be done (please let us know few days before the actual installation date),
Steps of the Process
1. The first step is to configure the Perfect Gym Manager: look here and here.
2. The second step is to to deliver the necessary information to the Implementation Team - when you are a new Client and you just begin setting up a new club.
What do you need?
Fill in and deliver the following document and information:
The document is attached at the bottom of this page. Please download it and fill in all the required information.
- When you are ready, simply ask us at onboard@perfectgym.com, when we may schedule the installation and send us the files!
- If you have more than the classic two access point devices (entrance and exit), please send us a simple scheme / diagram, with those devices depicted.
- Remember, that your Access server computer needs to be turned on all the time and has to have the Internet access.
How to speed up and help?
If you want to make sure, the installation is provided as quickly and smoothly as possible, go through the following points:
- Check if the Internet works,
- Check if the computer is switched on and the devices are connected to it properly and also switched on,
- Check if the computer has the TeamViewer application installed, for more information, see here.
Mind that the TV temporary password expires every day, or even after switching off the computer. That is why we recommend setting up a stable password!
- Check if the Access Control devices are in the same network that your computer. Open your internet settings and check the IP address of your computer.
- Try to ping the devices through command line with the IP addresses that have been assigned to them (ping 127.0.0.1* - insert correct address here*),
